The master bedroom made up nearly 1/4 of the house. Instead of using so much space in one room, a separate library/study is being created out of 1/3 of the room. The fireplace will fall in the library side. A doorway will be cut from the living room through to the library on teh right side of the fireplace. 
Right now it is all opened up into one huge room. The wall to divide will be constructed later this month. Carpet will be laid in the master bedroom, and hopefully the wood floors can be refinished in the library.
The current door to the bedroom enters from the dining room. It will be closed off later this month.
A new entry via a small vestibule/hallway will be created out of the linen closet, which is behind the door to the left in this photo. 
The new ceiling fan was hung today in the master bedroom!
